There are lots of instance wherein we find something cool in our smart phone screen which we like to save or share with our friends. Just like PrintScreen option in computer; we can take screenshot in our Android Phone or Smart Phones by pressing the right key combinations.
Taking a screenshot in a smart phone is much easier than taking a screenshot in computer. In this article we will learn “How to capture screenshot on Android Phones or Smart Phones with ease?”
Key Combination: Home Key + Power Key
To take a screenshot in iPhone; we just need to Press the Home Key and the Power Key at the same time. This will capture the active screen of smart phone and will save it to the camera roll. This will work for all models of iPhone including iPads.
Android Phones (4.0 and Above)
Key Combination: Home Key + Power Key + Volume Down
Pressing the combination of these keys at a same time will capture the active screen of your Android Phone. The captured image will be stored in the photo gallery under the folder Screenshots. This will work only on Android Phones which runs on Android 4.0 and above.
Android Phones (2.3 and Below)
There are two ways through which we can take screenshot for smart phones which uses Android 2.3 and below. Both will require third party apps which are available on play store.
Screenshot: This is a screen capture app which can be downloaded from play store. The drawback of this app is that it works only on device which are rooted. Since rooting is difficult and can void the warranty we would not recommend this app.
No Root Screenshot It: This is a paid app which can be downloaded from play store. This app doesn’t require rooting and is very safe but it is not available for free.
Blackberry
Download the CaptureIt application from HERE using your Blackberry Browser and install it. After the installation you will find the CaptureIt option under your Blackberry Menu. So now you can capture your blackberry active screen with just a click.
Windows Phone
Key Combination: Windows Key + Power Key
The above combination will work swiftly only on Windows 8 Phone. Screen capturing on phones which runs on Windows 7 is a hectic process as it requires unlocking so we won’t advice this.
